MOTO G PROBLEM

I'm having issues on both my Moto G's. The "call volume" is inconsistent.

When you make a call either with the speaker on or off, the first call will be full volume(which is correct), and the subsequent calls after are about half the volume or less, making it difficult to hear the other person while in public.

I have turned off the phones and turned them back on, and the same thing happens.
They work fine for 1-2-3 calls, and then back to half volume. Seems to be some type of software issue, as the speakers work fine on both phones.

The 4.4 was updated, and since it was, this seems to be an issue.

I know there's some 4.4 issues, but I haven't read about this?

What would you guys suggest I do?

Thanks,

Nothing coming through for 4.3 as of yet. I downgraded from 4.4.2 (with newest update) to 4.3 and left it that way for the majority of the day yesterday and it said the "device was up to date". I've since flashed 4.4.2 back onto the Moto G and was instantly advised of the latest update (all of 8.5 MB's worth).

If you're still on 4.3, you'll likely get the update in the next couple of days. The full download size for 4.4.2. is 478 MB, however a number of components from 4.3 will be brought over, thus reducing the initial size of the update to roughly 196 MB. You should be prompted for a secondary update, which is the one that's 8.5 MB in size.

For those of you who have rooted your Moto G, the update will not install and an error message will appear. Root privileges will need to be removed in order to get the update to install. The update will not interfere with unlocked bootloaders.

WARNING! After updating to 4.4.2 or the update that follows, data will automatically be enabled. Make sure to disable data and perform any app restorations or updates over Wi-Fi.
